Journal - Diary Yay - contact restored 11th Jan 2006
Some several months ago I sent an email to an old friend to see if she still used the mailing address I had listed. I'd given up hope of getting a return email ages ago, so was hugely shocked when she finally replied yesterday. Hopefully she checks for my reply (which I have not as yet composed) soon and continues to stay in contact. Family 6th Jan 2006
Spent a few days up North with the family just after New Year, due to the weather being nice enough to take the bike. My sister, nephew and niece arrived the day after I did, so I got to see them too, which was quite nice. Noticed that Natasha has the most amazing eyes I have ever seen, ones that remind me of a young deer, ones that I'm sure no man will ever be able to say no too. I almost pity the guys she may meet when she gets older. Went to an interview while there, though will not hazard a guess as to how it went. Might put a note here if they offer me the contract. That festive time of year that kids love 'cos of a fictitious fat bearded bloke and adults love 'cos of the parties. Not managed to locate the tree yet so there aren't any decorations up in the house. Might endeavour to get some tinsel or somesuch when I go out though. Too blinkered to see the wood 29th Nov 2005
Have had a rather trying time recently with several knock-backs in succession. From the popular saying about something being just another nail in the coffin I got to figuring that by now there would be more nails than actual wood. Anyway, I logged into my pseudo admin area here and read some back dated messages from people using my code. Actually felt appreciated again and even briefly smiled. So, thank you anyone who left a complimentary message. Happy New Year 3rd Jan 2005
and a belated Merry Xmas to you all. Just have to sober up before work starts and then get active. Might even get around to doing some useful coding this year ;o) |
